Purchasing a Gift Membership

When you purchase a Gift Membership, the Zoo produces a blank gift certificate. You tell us where to mail this blank certificate.

If you provide:

• your address, the blank certificate will be mailed to you. You can then fill in the recipient’s information, or gift it to them as a blank certificate for them to fill in themselves.
• the recipient’s address, a blank Gift Membership certificate will be mailed directly to them. They can then fill in their information to be redeemed.

Activating a Gift Membership

The recipient’s Membership is not active at the time of purchase; it becomes active on the first day the recipient decides to use it at the Zoo.

When the recipient is ready to activate their Membership, they bring in the completed certificate with them to the Zoo and redeem the certificate at our front gates. Their Membership activates on that date and is valid for one full year beyond that visit.
