Our Daytime Admission ticket page will display our daily rates. Once you determine how many tickets you would like to buy, move through the calendar to find listed prices on available dates. You can select any available date that meets your schedule and budget. Listed prices for specific dates are fixed and will not change, so just choose a day that works best for your schedule, knowing exactly what you will pay.
Tickets are available 1-3 months in advance of today’s date and are usually posted for an entire month at the same time. If your future date is not available, check back in a few weeks.
If you are looking to visit in the next few weeks and a specific date is not available, sometimes that is because the date is not available for purchase. Three dates each year are not available when the Zoo is closed: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. On rare occasion, other dates will not be available for purchase. This could be during a non-routine Zoo closure, or during a free entry day. Check our Modified Operations page for non-routine circumstances.
Yes, in order to save with Single Day Pricing, you must select the specific date you want to visit the Zoo. Your ticket purchase is subject to the Zoo’s ticket policies. Tickets are non-refundable. However, if you would like to check availability on ticket rescheduling up to 48 hours in advance of your visit date, please call 412-665-3640, ext. 0 or email [email protected]. Ticket reschedules, if available, are subject to $5 per ticket change fees.
If you are not sure when you’d like to visit the Zoo, you might like to purchase Flex tickets.
Single Day pricing only applies to Daytime General Admission. Prices for educational programs, events, and Memberships are all standard.
While Single Day Pricing offers the best rates on individual daytime visits at the Zoo, groups larger than 15, schools, members of the military, low-income households, and others may be eligible for group discounts and offers.
In 2024, the Zoo offered plan-ahead pricing, where ticket prices would start low several weeks in advance and raise as we approached any specific day. We listened to our guests, and we are excited to introduce simplified pricing for daytime visits! Weekday and weekend admission prices are now fixed, so you can plan your visit with ease.
The Zoo offers fixed rates for weekdays and for weekends/holidays. Prices will adjust seasonally to reflect our offerings and programming; for example, guests will pay more for a Saturday visit in July than a Wednesday visit in December. However, the listed price of a specific date, like next Saturday, will not change in price as you get closer to the date. Prices for dates remain fixed. Just choose a day that works best for your schedule, knowing exactly what you will pay.
